Quimera Energy, headquartered in London, is a rapidly growing company which develops energy efficiency projects focused on generating energy savings and reducing costs with the use of IoT technologies. It is specialized in the luxury hospitality sector, working with most of the largest hotel chains (Hyatt, Marriott, Accor, Shangri-La, Millennium and Melia). Such client portfolio has been developed within only 3 years and Quimera´s unique methodology has gained wide exposure around the world. It is now operating across Europe, Middle East, The Caribbean area and China. We are happy to welcome enthusiastic and goal-oriented professional to join our international team.

Position: Internship (paid)

Currently, Quimera Energy is focused heavily on expansion of its operations worldwide. The candidate´s role will involve a fusion between financial control and human resources support for the company. You will provide support to business operations in helping the team to control the costs, expenses, invoicing, create project profitability reports and analyse the actual project status from the financial perspective. The candidate will also be responsible for acquisition and pre-selection of the best talent to join the team in its offices worldwide. You will recruit engineering, marketing, commercial types of profiles in markets such as Spain, Germany, China, Mexico, UAE etc and provide support on this to both engineering and business development team. It is a perfect opportunity for recent graduates or student currently enrolled in the degree who would like to obtain the hands on experience and learn valuable skills in international ambience.


  • Keep track of project expenses
  • Cost analysis & profitability analysis
  • Create project profitability calculations and progress/profitability for management
  • Support the engineering team in invoicing tracking
  • Perform other tasks that maybe related to the financial status of the projects
  • Research for ways to acquire talents in international markets where candidates need to be hired & post the offer across different HR channels worldwide
  • CV revision and selection of the most appropriate candidates
  • Phone and in-person interview
  • Research into labor laws and regulations of the particular country where the candidate is hiredRequirements:
  • Currently studying or recent graduate with Bachelor or Master Degree in Business Administration or other related degrees
  • Fluency in English (other European languages is a plus)
  • Organizational skills and self discipline is a must
  • Strong communication skills
  • Proactivity in improving ways of work and tasks execution
  • Ability to take decisions autonomously
  • Ability to work in dynamic entrepreneurial environment
  • Ability to deliver high quality work
