An Italian Restaurant based in Dubai is looking for a Manager to head up its team and operations. This position calls for a well-presented and customer focused Manager who will ensure that all operational standards are adhered to in order to achieve the highest level of guest service standards.

Responsibilities/Duties: Responsibilities and essential job functions include but will not be limited to the following;
- Ensure the highest level of service and courtesy are provided to all guests.
- Ensure that an effective link is maintained between the kitchen and service areas.
- Manage the level, consistency, and quality of table and/or counter service of all menu items.
- Ensure all food safety procedures are strictly adhered to according to sanitary regulations
- Consistently monitor quality of food and beverages being served and service quality.
- Actively seek and review guests’ feedback regarding food quality, service, and overall satisfaction and take appropriate and timely action.
- Conduct regular team briefings and meetings.
- Takes full responsibility of the outlet.
- Apply creative solutions and propose ideas on developing and enhancing the business.
- To proactively manage the restaurants budget and the sales and marketing plans.
- Achieve sales and profit targets and enhance the margins through effective stock management and minimizing controllable costs.
- Create and prepare monthly promotions / events to generate revenue.
- Actively promote the use of up-selling techniques within outlet to exceed guest expectations and increase revenue.
- Prepare duty roster to ensure maximum staff productively.
- Train and supervise staff.
- Supervise the work of the team to ensure adherence to quality standards, deadlines, and proper procedures are followed, correcting errors or problems.
- Create a working environment and develop a positive working relationship at all levels that support the organization and values.
- Work closely with management to meet revenue objectives
- Maintain safe working conditions
- Follow company policies and procedures regarding the handling of cash, property, products and equipment
- Audit inventory levels to ensure product availability, and order products as necessary.
- Degree Diploma in Hotel Management or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as Manager in an Italian cuisine restaurant
- UAE Experience required
