ENGLISH TEACHER INTERNSHIP, MADRID, SPAIN

Spanish language academy situated in Madrid which conducts English, French, Portuguese, Italian, and Chinese classes for schools, companies, and groups. The company has a broad selection of services which includes general, technical, and legal translations. The Academy uses its own material to carry out in classes and has a dedicated department which carries out the training plans and ongoing professional training for their teachers.

TASKS:

• Delivering person-centered care
• Motivating and stimulating children’s learning abilities, often encouraging learning through experience
• Organising learning materials and resources and making imaginative use of resources
• Developing learners’ curiosity and knowledge
• (Help) planning, preparing and delivering lessons to a range of classes and age groups
• Help prepare and set tests, examination papers, and exercises
• Planning and preparing lessons
• Teaching large and small groups of learners from a range of backgrounds, abilities, and ages
• Setting up after-school clubs as well as running extracurricular activities, such as homework clubs, reading clubs, sports, music, and discos, during lunchtimes or as out-of-school activities
• Delivering tailored teaching activities to pupils on either a one-to-one basis or in small groups

REQUIREMENTS:

• Teaching vocation
• Identifying community skills, assets, issues, and needs
• The period of the internship is 9 months, from September/October to May
• English (at least B2)
