A-Level Diploma in Hotel Management
The A-Level Diploma in Hotel Management covers the core principles of hotel operations, front office management, housekeeping, food and beverage service, and hospitality customer service. This program is designed for students with no previous experience in hospitality who want to build a solid foundation before progressing to a Bachelor or Master degree in hotel and tourism management.
A-Level Diploma in Business Administration
The A-Level Diploma in Business Administration introduces students to the fundamentals of business management, marketing, finance, human resources and organizational behavior. This program is ideal for adult students who want to enter the world of business or prepare for a Bachelor degree in Business Administration, International Business or Digital Marketing Management.
How are the A-Level programs structured?
Each A-Level diploma at HTL consists of two trimesters over one academic year. The first trimester covers core theory and professional subjects in your chosen field. The second trimester deepens your specialization with more advanced topics and project work. Spanish language classes are included in all A-Level programs, giving international students a practical introduction to Spanish that supports both their internship and daily life in Spain.
Study modalities: on campus with a teacher or online
HTL offers two study modalities for A-Level diploma programs in Spain. The on-campus modality gives you access to live classes with a teacher in Barcelona, or via virtual live streaming from anywhere in the world. The online modality gives you access to a self-study platform available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Both modalities lead to the same A-Level diploma qualification and provide identical learning quality.
A-Level as a pathway to Bachelor degrees
One of the most important advantages of completing an A-Level diploma at HTL is the direct pathway it provides to Bachelor degree enrollment. After successfully completing your A-Level diploma, you can progress directly to the first year of any HTL Bachelor degree program in Business Administration, International Business, Hotel and Tourism Studies or Business and Digital Marketing Management.
This makes the A-Level diploma an excellent option for adult students who did not complete a traditional secondary education, who studied in a different field and want to change direction, or who simply want a structured introduction to their chosen subject before committing to a full three-year Bachelor degree.
How much does an A-Level diploma cost?
A-Level diploma programs at HTL International School cost 4,000 euros, paid in full at enrollment. This includes all study materials, Spanish language classes and internship coordination. Compared to A-Level programs in the UK or other European countries, HTL offers one of the most affordable English-language A-Level options available, combined with the unique advantage of studying and interning in Spain.
Who can apply for an A-Level diploma in Spain?
A-Level diploma programs at HTL are open to all nationalities with no age limit. The minimum requirement is a B1 level of English. Applications are open all year round with intakes in January, April, July and October. The application deadline is 30 working days before the program start date. If you do not have an official English certificate, HTL provides a free online English placement test as part of the application process.
