To provide attendees with elements of reflection that allow them to guide their training towards the teaching of Spanish as a foreign language.
Present the instruments and techniques for teaching Spanish as a foreign language.
Acquire the necessary skills for the design, planning, management and development of the classes.
Week 1:
1. Grammar in the classroom. Selection of appropriate and conflicting grammatical contents.
2. Basic concepts of ELE teaching. The CEFR and the Reference Levels. The DELE certification system.
3. Methodology: Methods applied to the teaching of ELE.
Week 2:
1. The different linguistic skills: comprehension, expression and oral and written interaction.
2. Analysis of materials and didactic resources. Criteria for its selection and its use in the classroom.
3. The digital tools. Audiovisual resources and techniques and internet.
Week 3:
1. The focus of the classes according to the class group typology: group classes, private classes, face-to-face classes, distance learning and student age.
2. The difficulties in the didactic. How to approach the different activities and difficulties of the students to learn according to their origin, the cultural component.
Week 4:
1. Strategies for the treatment of errors and corrections in class.
2. The evaluation of the students. The different scales for the qualification of the students (holistic and analytical) and the qualification criteria according to the Cervantes Institute.
Practical module:
1. Observation of real classes. Assistance as listeners to different courses and levels in our centers.
2. Design of a didactic unit, elaboration of didactic materials, activities for the development of skills and abilities, etc.
3. Implementation of the didactic unit elaborated with the real students of the school.
