F&B Service internship, Lloret de Mar, Girona

Join our team as an F&B Service Intern and immerse yourself in the world of hospitality! This internship provides a hands-on learning experience within the food and beverage department of our esteemed hotel. You’ll work alongside experienced professionals, gaining invaluable skills and knowledge in delivering exceptional service to our guests.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in setting up and preparing dining areas for service, including tables, linens, and utensils.
• Welcome guests upon arrival, escort them to their tables, and provide menus.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring special requests or dietary restrictions are noted.
• Relay orders to the kitchen and bar staff promptly.
• Serve food and beverages to guests with attention to detail and presentation.
• Check on guests regularly to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns or issues promptly.
• Clear tables and reset them for the next guests.
  Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of dining areas and service stations.
• Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service flow.
• Assist with inventory management and restocking of supplies as needed.
• Learn and adhere to all safety and sanitation protocols.

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in hospitality management, culinary arts, or Tourism and Hotel Management and Paid Hotel Internships (htlinternationalschool.com).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Customer-focused attitude with a passion for delivering exceptional service.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Prior restaurant or hospitality experience is a plus but not required.
