F&B Internship in Castelldefels, Barcelona

Our collaborator is a hotel and restaurant group in Barcelona.

This vacancy is for a hotel in Castelldefels, a beautiful beach village 20 km from the very center of Barcelona and 10 km from the airport. The hotel hosts corporate customers for meetings as well as hosts guests on holidays, weddings, and social gatherings, not to mention it attracts clients to their exclusive restaurant.

They are looking for a food and beverage intern- expected to welcome guests, serve tables, and organize the restaurant and meeting rooms.

You will work closely with other departments to ensure the better coordination of services, help at the swimming pool bar, and in general provide good service to their clients and guests. The tasks may be different depending on your assignment, always with the aim of providing excellent service.

You will be in daily contact with international customers, therefore this internship will be useful for developing your communication and language skills. Also, you will learn about organization in restaurant and catering services.

• Help set up the restaurant, swimming pool bar and meeting rooms.
• Public relations and meals service with guests.
• Mise en place and maintain areas of service tidy.
• Preparation of drinks, cocktails…
• Service of food.
• Other position-related tasks.
  Fluent Spanish
  Knowledge of English and other languages will be considered a plus.
  Minimum 3 months including July and August
  Studies related to Hospitality and/or tourism.
  Friendly and approachable manner.
