Internship Tourism/Hospitality, Colombia
I am writing to you as the manager of the Tukawa hotel in Colombia. We are located in the heart of a coffee and banana farm, about 45 minutes from Filandia (in Quindío). Our hostel offers accommodation ranging from dormitories to lodge-style cabins.
We currently have an internship opportunity, we are looking for a motivated intern with a passion for the hospitality and tourism sectors to join our team and play an active role in our projects.
This internship represents an excellent opportunity for a student to put theoretical knowledge into practice, gain valuable professional experience and develop skills in a dynamic and stimulating environment.
Internship duties will include:
* Welcome, advise and contribute to the satisfaction of our customers,
* Contribute to the administrative management of the reception (reservations, check-in, check-out, receipts, invoicing),
* Manage customer relations,
* Be versatile and collaborate with all departments,
* Communication skills would be a plus.
Profile required:
– Student in hospitality, hotel management or related field,
– Communication skills and customer service orientation,
– Ability to work effectively as part of a team,
– Flexibility to work flexible hours,
– Fluency in English and Spanish,
– Beginners accepted, training provided,
– Minimum 4-month internship, with one starting in August and another in December.
