Reception internship, Barcelona

Our collaborator is a global network of destination hotels where everyday moments matter. Their goal is to offer a high level of comfort and relaxation for leisure, wellness and business guests.

Included in their network, you can find suites, studios and apartments for long stays, resorts for family vacations and branded residences.

A leader in the sector worldwide, you have the opportunity to work in their completely renovated hotel, with more than 150 rooms, meeting rooms, a gym and a large restaurant area accompanied by an immense garden, a stage for events and a beautiful pool.

Tasks

• You will be the main point of contact when welcoming their clients and making them feel unique from the moment you say “Hello” until “see you soon and have a safe journey.”
• You will accompany the person in charge of the shift with reception tasks, with a heavy focus on customer service.
• Check in, check out.
• Manage the cash register.
• Advise the client during their stay.
• Support the reservation department.
• Facilitate the client’s stay and achieve a “WOW” experience with creativity and talent.

Requirements

• Advanced level French.
• Good communication skills in English and Spanish.
• Eager to learn and develop your skills.
• Effevctive communication skills and an approachable and friendly manner.
• Organized.
• Appreciates and learns from feedback.

Conditions

• Monthly stipend of 400€- 500€/ month.
• Accommodation.

Availability:

Internship dates: 10th September 2024- 30th April 2025.
Schedule: mornings from 07.00- 15.00 and evenings from 15.00- 23.00.
40 hours/ week.
Location: Barcelona, Spain.
