HTL International School’s Bachelor’s Degree in Business and Digital Marketing Management provides students with the knowledge and core business management and digital marketing skills they need to succeed in the globalized digital world. You will study the whole degree in English. HTL International School Bachelor’s degree in Business and Digital Marketing Management is divided into a 3-year program:
- During the first year, you will concentrate on the fundamentals of business, such as the basics of strategic marketing, management, business economics, and human resources. You will get the theoretical bases of business that will help you to understand business practices in global contexts.
- During the second year, you’ll receive a deeper knowledge of digital marketing, social media marketing, customer service, communication skills, and main strategies like SEO/SEM, working with influencers, online advertisement, etc.
- The third year will concentrate on implementing the strategies, back-end and front-end development, direct marketing, and the way to take your business model to function online.
Intended learning outcomes:

- Apply proven theoretical and conceptual knowledge of global business challenges in digital contexts
- communicate effectively in English in oral, written, and electronic formats using communication and information technology for business applications and can prepare and present reports

This program will provide you with theoretical, linguistic, and practical skills.
The main language of instruction is English, and the program includes intensive foreign language training.
Students can choose between Spanish, French, or Russian, and take an official state-level language exam at the end of the modules.
For Spanish, the SIELE exam can be completed directly at our campus — HTL International School is an official SIELE Examination Center, accredited by the Instituto Cervantes.
The specialization modules are designed to provide practical, career-oriented knowledge based on real industry experience. This ensures that graduates can start working in their chosen field immediately after completing the Master’s degree, without requiring any additional training.
Grades are awarded through continuous assessment, examinations, and the final project defense.
Once the theoretical modules are finished (or in parallel), all students must undertake an internship in a company in Spain or abroad.
To make this possible for every student, all classes can be attended on campus or live online, providing flexibility and global mobility for both students and teachers.
Students can transfer between campuses or change the modality of their studies from on-campus to online after completing one module and before starting the next one. The face-to-face modality is offered only on the Barcelona campus. The virtual classroom modality is offered in Barcelona, Madrid, and Valencia in the same timetable as the face-to-face modality.

Program structure:
Students enrolled in the Online Study Program will have 24/7 access to a dedicated online learning platform containing all required materials for each compulsory module outlined in the study plan.
All students must complete a foreign language preparation module, choosing between Spanish, French, or Russian. It is strongly recommended to take an official state language exam such as DELE or SIELE Global (levels A1–C1).
HTL International School is an accredited SIELE Examination Center of the Instituto Cervantes.
Each academic module allows a preparation period of three months, during which students complete their assignments, projects, and exams. All assessments and presentations are conducted entirely online, with no on-campus attendance required.
Students may complete an internship anywhere in the world as part of their academic training. HTL facilitates all necessary internship agreements, and internships can be carried out simultaneously with theoretical studies. Upon completion, an official evaluation certificate must be submitted to include the internship as part of the student’s academic transcript.
Students may change their study modality — from Online to On-Campus or vice versa — every trimester.

To enroll in a Bachelor’s Degree, it is necessary:

- English level certificate, if any. If you don’t have any proof of your English level, you can pass our online English placement test. The direct link is on the Admissions page.
On completing this Higher Graduate Program of Study you will:
1. Be awarded the initial professional degree
– Associate Degree (60 credits)
– Bachelor Degree (180 credits)
– Master’s Degree (240 credits)
– SIELE Global Diploma (Spanish Language for Foreigners official state diploma) or
2. The degree qualifies graduates to take over specialist and managerial positions in any industry and pursue a Master’s degree course.
3. Have attained a high-level qualification equated to the International studies framework as a Bachelor’s Degree or Grado Propio according to the Spanish National framework.

The HTL International School Bachelor in Business and Digital Marketing Management prepares you for a successful career in the national and international industries.
The program will help you to develop your managerial capabilities and business sense. A good command of at least two languages will provide you with a privileged position in the employment market. You’ll have a general overview of the key areas of the new information technologies and business management: digital marketing, e-commerce, verbal and written communication skills, and advanced information technologies and advertising.
The program blends the on-campus theory with the online study platform and in-company practical internship.
The On-Campus modality offers the flexibility to join classes via the virtual classroom from anywhere in Spain or abroad, allowing students to participate in live sessions together with classmates and instructors. Attendance in person is not mandatory for theoretical lessons, exams, or project presentations. This approach provides both students and faculty with the adaptability essential in modern education.
The Online modality grants students 24/7 access to an interactive self-study platform. There is no fixed daily or weekly study time, enabling learners to progress at their own pace while balancing studies with work or internship commitments. All exams and evaluations are completed through the platform. The Final Business Planning and Research Project is presented on campus, in front of an academic committee.
After the theoretical trimester is finished, all students need to do an internship. Internship requirements are:
- 240 hours per academic year (with the possibility to do more hours)
- Internship tasks need to be in line with the study program
- internship can be done anywhere in the world, in person or remotely
- HTL International school does not place students in the company, but will assist with finding an offer and signing an internship agreement
- For those who are working full-time or do not want to do the internship for any reason, there is an alternative to cover the necessary hours. This will be explained by the tutor
